Merrill Fire Department Report Week Ending October 13

MERRILL – The Merrill Fire Department responded to 47 calls last week, bringing the total for 2024 to 1,790 calls.

There was one call regarding carbon monoxide detector and alarm system activation. There was one motor vehicle accident on US Hwy 51 on Friday October 11 that resulted in injuries. There were 41 additional calls requesting EMS services. One call was received Tuesday October 9 for a malicious false alarm on E 3rd St in the City of Merrill.

Crews responded to a call regarding a downed power line on Cranberry Trail in the Town of Corning on October 13.
